Campo is located about 50 miles or so east of San Diego on Hwy 94. If you
drive to Campo from San Diego on Hwy 94, you'll come very close to the
border and can see into Mexcio from points along the Hwy. Hwy 94 west of Campo
is a twisty road with many hills and such, but straightens out a bit east
(and north) of Campo. The next town past Campo (heading east) is Jacumba.
EVENTS:
CLIMATE:
There are weekly train rides at the
San Diego Railroad Museum. There will be
more events listed here soon, so check back often.
Campo is in the mountains, so don't expect the climate to be as mild as
San Diego coastal areas. Dress warm if you'll be here during the evenings in
winter. Be prepared for hot weather in the summer. At least Campo has seasons!
